Lemony-Blueberry Nectarine Freezer Jam
3 cups chopped, pitted peeled nectarines ( I use my potato masher to mash the fruit)
1 cup crushedd blueberries
1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 pouch freezer jam pectin
Combine nectarines, blueberries, lemon peel, lemon juice and sugar in a medium bowl. Let stand 15 minutes. Gradually stir freezer jam pectin into fruit mixture. Stir 3 minutes; let stand 5 minutes. Ladle jam into freezer jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Freeze.
Zucchini Drop Cookies
I found this recipe for zucchini cookies and I loved them. My 3 year old loves to help me cook and while he was helping me he called these "bikini" cookies, instead of zucchini cookies. It was cute! You can find the recipe by clicking on this link http://thecookingdivaideas.blogspot.com/2008/08/zucchini-drop-cookies.html. They are delicious! I made half with nuts and half without, but I definitely liked the ones with the nuts the best. I think the nuts made the cookies!

Oh my gosh, that jam sounds out of this world. I'd love to try those zuke cookies too-always trying to sneak in some nutrition.
Rach, your jam is awesome! I love it. It is sweet and tasty. Such a treat for my toast. Thanks for being so kind to share a jar of it. I know it is priceless and hard to give away. Thank you! Your "bikini" cookies look great. I will have to try them out. It sure was a fun weekend at the cabin. Thanks for coordinating it.
Yay! You're back! I checked back a time or two, but you guys must have been livin' it up at the lake still.
This jam sounds AWESOME! I never would have thought of combining all of those things!
And the cookies sound good too!
Sara, thanks for the blog award. I'm not worthy!!! I tell myself that I will eat healthy; no sugar or flour, but then I check in on what you feature and I can't resist. Thank you for enriching my family's palate!
